Fundamentals of Fundraising (2-day workshop)

Speakers: Ken Miller, CFRE; Kishshana Palmer, CFRE; and Barbara O’Reilly, CFRE

Do you need to build understanding of all the core areas of fundraising? Deepen your knowledge with this comprehensive introduction to the knowledge fundraising domains including relationship building, securing the gift, volunteer involvement, and ethics and accountability. The workshop includes case studies and group projects, making the learning experience both substantive and enjoyable.


CFRE Refresher (2-day workshop)

Speakers: TBA

Do you need a refresher before taking the CFRE Exam? This 2-day intensive workshop uses caselets-short case studies-to review the six fundraising knowledge domains and the core principles and concepts that all experienced fundraising professionals should know. Refresh your knowledge and expose knowledge gaps as you continue preparation for the CFRE exam.


Faculty Training Academy (2-day workshop)

Speaker: Dr. B.J. Bischoff

Faculty Training Academy (FTA) is AFP's "train the trainer" program that helps ensure quality in education by providing formal training for prospective faculty and instructors of AFP's education programs. FTA attendees receive comprehensive, hands-on training in adult education principles, learning styles, classroom management, assessment, and other related topics. FTA graduates are expected to serve as instructors for AFP's Fundamentals in Fundraising, CFRE Refresher, Planning to Keep Your Donors, and other professional development courses on behalf of AFP IHQ and chapters.
