About the AFP CATALYST Program
AFP CATALYST will focus on Belonging in the Workplace. We will examine belonging and being human through an IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity and access) and mental health lens to develop more culturally competent leaders in the nonprofit sector.
Belonging is a key component of inclusion. When employees are truly included, they feel that the organization cares for them as individuals. Cultivating a sense of belonging has the ability to positively impact recruitment and retention of top talent, overall job satisfaction, employee morale, and the financial bottom line in any organization.
AFP CATALYST Format and Goals
During this meeting, attendees will use their experience and industry expertise to address growing challenges in our sector today. You'll enjoy special guest speakers and skilled facilitators leading thought-provoking and sector-shifting conversations.
This will not be an ordinary breakout-style conference or an average executive-level learning opportunity!
Using the design thinking methodology, we'll approach topics in a nested loop fashion by leveraging thinking and learning skills experientially, while creatively forming solutions.
AFP CATALYST will focus on creating an environment with an information- and solutions- oriented approach with the goal of identifying promising practices that can be shared with each other and our sector at-large.
